After a decade of missing the playoffs and failing to finish above .500, the Rams have had a great deal of success in the last three seasons since Sean McVay took over as head coach. From an 11-5 record in his first year at the helm in 2017 to a Super Bowl appearance the following season, the Rams quickly turned into one of the top franchises.
Along the way, they’ve played some memorable games, too. There were a lot of great moments in 2017 and 2018 especially, including their two playoffs wins leading up to the Super Bowl.
Fortunately, fans can relive those games and watch them again online for free. The league has made NFL GamePass free until May 31 for anyone who wants to sign up, which normally costs $99 per year.
To pass the time without sports, Rams fans should rewatch these 10 games from the last three seasons.
Sept. 10, 2017: Rams rout Colts in McVay’s debut
It’s hard to imagine McVay’s first game as a head coach going much better. The Rams won 46-9, blowing out Indianapolis and limiting the Colts to just 225 total yards at the Coliseum. Jared Goff looked sharp, too, throwing for 306 yards with a passer rating of 117.9.
Sept. 21, 2017: Rams-49ers surprise with TNF classic
Little was expected of the Rams and 49ers in 2017, but they played one of the best games of the 2017 season in Week 3. The Rams won 41-39 in a classic shootout with each team topping 400 total yards. The 49ers nearly came back from down 41-26 in the fourth quarter, but their two-point conversion attempt with 2:13 to play failed.
Oct. 21, 2017: Gurley erupts for 215 yards vs. Cowboys
The following week, Todd Gurley went off. He had 121 yards rushing and 94 yards receiving, scoring one touchdown and helping lift the Rams to a 35-30 win. The play of the game was a 53-yard pass from Goff to Gurley for six.
