10 guards Broncos should consider signing during NFL free agency

With Dalton Risner’s future in Denver uncertain, the Broncos should look at these guards during NFL free agency.

After a disappointing 2022 season, the Denver Broncos are expected to overhaul their offensive line this offseason with as many as three new starters arriving for the 2023 season.

On the outside, Garett Bolles is expected to return at left tackle, but the team is still seeking a long-term solution at right tackle. On the interior, Quinn Meinerz seems to be the only safe bet to return as a starter this year.

Dalton Risner is scheduled to become a free agent on March 15, and it remains to be seen if the Broncos plan to re-sign him. With Risner’s future in Denver uncertain, it wouldn’t be surprising to see general manager George Paton target guards during free agency this spring.

Here’s a quick look at 10 free agent guards the Broncos might consider, listed from youngest to oldest. (And yes, there are two Connor McGoverns in the NFL, and both of them are interior offensive linemen.)
