COLLEGE STATION — Former University of Tennessee Lady Vol basketball player Zaay Green has officially transferred and will remain in the Southeastern Conference.
Green, a redshirt sophomore, will return to her home state to continue her college basketball career at Texas A&M.
As a freshman on Rocky Top Green, the of Duncanville, Texas native, made the SEC All-Freshman Team. She averaged nine points and four rebounds in her first season.
Green appeared in just two games for the Lady Vols during the 2019-20 campaign as she suffered a season-ending ACL injury in practice.
She will be eligible to play for the Aggies in 2020-21 and have two years of college eligibility left in her career.
