Wisconsin women’s basketball put together arguably their best performance of the season on Sunday in a 69-57 win over Penn State. The Badgers (5-13, 2-6 BIG) came from behind early, but pulled ahead for good late in the third quarter led by Katie Nelson and Julie Pospisilova.
Nelson and Pospisilova combined for 47 of the Badgers’ 69 points as they bounced back from a lopsided defeat at No. 8 Michigan.
Wisconsin has now won two of their last three Big Ten games, and have a national TV game coming up this Thursday. The Badgers travel to Nebraska for an 8 p.m. CT Thursday tip, with the game televised on the Big Ten Network.
