[lawrence-newsletter]BetMGM recently released the 2020 Big Ten championship odds and Wisconsin is seen as more of a long shot than they really should be.
Full lines are available in the BetMGM college football section. To nobody’s surprise, the Ohio State Buckeyes are heavy favorites to win the conference. Ohio State enters in at -250 favorites, meaning that you would have to risk $25 in order to make $10 in profit. Three Big Ten East schools headline the odds with Michigan entering in at +550, and Penn State coming in at third at +900.

The Badgers are the top team in the Big Ten West according to the odds, but they are tied with Penn State at +900 for third-best odds to win the conference. The fact is that Wisconsin has an easier road to the championship game than Penn State or Michigan who go through Ohio State to get there. The road to Indianapolis is clear for UW, but winning when they get there still has proven to be elusive when facing the Buckeyes.
