It’s that time of the week where we look in on USA TODAY’s re-rank of all the college football teams. Paul Myerberg is the one tasked with re-ranking all 127 teams after the latest week of observation and games, and it has been a moving target as you can imagine.
Myerberg has been historically high on Ohio State, but so far, like most media members, he’s taken a wait and see approach with the Buckeyes this year despite them looking pretty dominant so far. There hasn’t really been a true test with what we’ve seen from Penn State’s fall, so it’s hard to get a good gauge on how OSU will look when if faces a talented team.
So where does he have Ohio State? The same place he’s had the Buckeyes for the last few weeks, at No. 3 just behind No. 1 Alabama and No. 2 Clemson.
Rounding out the top ten after those three are Clemson (4), Cincinnati (5), Texas A&M (6), Florida (7), Wisconsin (8), Oregon (9), and BYU (10).

If you’re a little bedazzled and upset at the Buckeyes seemingly unmoveable perch at No. 3, never fear, Ohio State has a matchup with top ten opponent Indiana (yes, it’s true) this weekend.
