WATCH: What is behind the Boston Celtics’ recent resurgence?

And more importantly, is it sustainable?

What is driving the recent success of the Boston Celtics? Winners of their last two games, the team has played some of the best ball of the season in recent games, and with the team trending healthier with clearer roles, some are starting to wonder if the Celtics have finally figured out how to play together in such a way that the team’s best players actually make each other better.

And with the team breaking scoring records with a roster better known for its defensive capabilities while star forward Jayson Tatum flirts with his career-high alongside excellent play out of Jaylen Brown and Robert Williams III, it’s hard not to be tempted to drink the proverbial Kool-Aid.

But we have been burned plenty of times in just this season alone, with the disease of consistent inconsistency stabbing us in the back as soon as our collective guard is down.

The eponymous host of the NBC Sports Boston “Forsberg’s Four” segment from the “Celtics Post-up” show Chris Forsberg recently shared with co-host Abby Chin what he believes is driving the team’s recent excellent play. So, watch the clip embedded above to hear if the NBC Sports Boston host believes it’s sustainable — or fools gold.
