Watch: Top 10 career plays from new Falcons QB Josh Rosen

Here’s a look at the top 10 plays of Josh Rosen’s NFL career thus far.

Few things impact the way we perceive NFL players more than draft status. For example, a first-round pick is usually someone with higher potential than a player taken later in the draft.  So when things don’t work out for out a high pick, the potential associated with their draft status usually helps the player get a second, third, fourth, and in the case of Falcons quarterback Josh Rosen, a fifth opportunity.

Rosen was a highly touted signal-caller coming out of UCLA in 2018, eventually drafted with the No. 10 pick by the Arizona Cardinals.  While he wouldn’t exactly thrive as a rookie, Rosen was given up on prematurely when Arizona hired a new coach and drafted QB Kyler Murray first overall the following year.

Since then, Rosen has struggled to find a home. Atlanta signed him on Monday after placing AJ McCarron on inured reserve. And while you should temper your expectations for Rosen, Falcons head coach Arthur Smith has fixed another struggling former first-round pick in Titans QB Ryan Tannehill.

Let’s check out the top 10 plays of Rosen’s NFL career thus, as shared by the team’s Twitter account below.
