WATCH: Stashed Boston Celtics point guard Yam Madar helps Israeli national team advance in World Cup qualifiers

A little red meat for you Yamaniacs out there.

Boston Celtics stashed draft prospect Yam Madar has been hard at work on his craft overseas, and not just with his team for this season, Partizan NIS of the ABA League, the EuroCup and in the Basketball League of Serbia, but also with the Israeli National Team in FIBA Basketball’s World Cup European Qualifiers.

In fact, he’s been a big boost to Israel’s play, helping them complete a “perfect window” (a set of games between four teams grouped together) in qualifying play for his national team. So much so that FIBA themselves decided to post their own highlight video of Madar’s on-court wizardry for us to enjoy.

So, if it has been too long for the Yamaniacs to go without an update on how his play has been progressing, or you just happen to be a little curious regarding what the Beit Dagan native has been up to, watch the clip embedded below to get up to speed with the Israeli floor general.
