WATCH: Panthers DT Bravvion Roy picks off Ravens QB Lamar Jackson

We have ourselves a big boy pick! 330-pound DT Bravvion Roy snatched an interception off Ravens QB Lamar Jackson in Week 11.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson hadn’t committed a turnover in his previous four games heading into his Week 11 clash with the Carolina Panthers. Well, that changed—in a very, very unlikely way.

With just over nine minutes remaining in the second quarter of Sunday’s matchup, Panthers defensive tackle Bravvion Roy got right in the way of a Jackson throw—one that would’ve found the hands of star tight end Mark Andrews on a first-and-10. And by “right in the way of,” we mean the 330-pounder eclipsed the ball entirely, and snatched it . . .

The interception was the first of Roy’s three-year career. He had compiled just seven tackles and one pass defensed over six games entering the afternoon.

Roy also displayed some nice timing on the takeaway, as the pick halted what was a potential scoring drive for Baltimore. Jackson and the Ravens were set up on the Panthers’ 29-yard line before the improbable play.
