It’s safe to say Sean McVay and Matthew Stafford heard all the doubters on the outside this offseason. After the Rams’ 30-13 win over the Seahawks on Sunday, McVay told reporters that he “couldn’t care less what they say outside,” doing his best to block out the critics.
In the locker room, he showed love to his players and gave a passionate speech following the victory, telling them to never change.
“Love this group. (Expletive) love you guys, for real. Because of the way that you guys have poured yourselves out every single day,” McVay said. “Don’t you (expletive) change at all. Don’t you change.
After McVay’s speech, Stafford took over and broke the group down with some fiery words of his own.
“Whatever the (expletive) the outside world thought this (expletive) was going to look like, they don’t got a (expletive) clue,” Stafford said. “Keep up that (expletive) (expletive) every single day. We just (expletive) started now. Let’s go.”
"Don't you change at all — don't you change! Love you guys!"

Yeah, this team is motivated to prove everyone wrong. There’s no doubt about that.
