WATCH: Kemba Walker scores 36 points, 7 rebounds in loss to Miami Heat

Walker scored a season high against the Miami Heat on Tuesday night.

Boston Celtics starting point guard Kemba Walker scored a season high against the Miami Heat in their second meeting in a week at the Celtics home court of TD Garden Tuesday night, but it wasn’t enough to keep Boston from falling to the Heat 129 – 121.

That shouldn’t take away from what we’re seeing from the UConn product in recent games however, with this latest performance hinting at how dangerous a fully healthy Celtics squad will be. Walker scored 36 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal in 38 minutes of floor time with just 1 turnover and 2 personal fouls.

The New Yorker also shot an efficient 14-of-27 from the floor, including 4-of-11 from deep and 4-of-6 from the free throw line.

While we understand if you don’t want to see this loss again in full, be sure to check out Walker’s season-high performance while we wait for the team to take the floor against the Cleveland Cavaliers Wednesday night in the video embedded above by Tomasz Kordylewski.
