Electronic Arts started their day by giving the football community another thing to look forward to on Thursday morning by unveiling a trailer for ‘Madden NFL 22.’ The footage came as the company also revealed the players who would be on the cover in former league MVPs Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes.
Many players were featured in the trailer around the league, including Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who was taken with the No. 1 overall pick.

It will be interesting to see what rating Lawrence (and the Jags) receive in this year’s game. Last year Joe Burrow was initially a 76, but Lawrence is a prospect most pundits feel is the highest-rated quarterback since Andrew Luck. As for the Jags, they were a 74 during the initial launch of ‘Madden NFL 21,’ which was the lowest rating in the game.
However, the Jags added some veteran help during the offseason, and on paper, their roster seems to have surpassed the Houston Texans’ with Deshaun Watson battling legal issues. With that being the case, the Jags could avoid being the worst overall team, but ultimately time will tell.
