WATCH: Aaron Nesmith scores 21 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists with Maine Celtics vs. Wisconsin Herd

More evidence to suggest the Vanderbilt product needs regular minutes to develop.

If you thought it was a permanent case of the yips that had Boston Celtics second-year small forward Aaron Nesmith shooting poorly, we have some evidence that theory is no good. Assigned to the Maine Celtics with big man teammate Bruno Fernando (the G League affiliate for the Celtics formerly known as the Maine Red Claws) on Sunday, Nesmith had himself quite the game.

The South Carolina native put up 21 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, and a steal while shooting 9-of-16 from the field, 2-of-7 from the 3-point line, and a perfect 1-of-1 from the free-throw line.

Watch the clip embedded below put together by YouTuber Tomasz Kordylewski to see the best of Nesmith with the Maine Celtics this weekend.

With a little luck, we will see similar play from him at the next level as well.
