The Buffalo Bills got some help in their Week 14 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. It sure looked justified.
The Bills (7-6) beat the Chiefs (8-5) by a score a 20-17. Late on, Kansas City did score a crazy touchdown on a play where there was a lateral from tight end Travis Kelce.
But… a flag. And the Chiefs were not happy about it but a replay shows it looked like the right call.
Kansas City receiver Kadarius Toney lined up in the neutral zone prior to the snap.
But did he?
An image of the play says yes… have a look for yourself:
Toney was literally even with or ahead of the center. Chiefs are whining about the penalty. This was not even close.
Generally in favor of the refs swallowing the whistle toward the end but this is a no-brainer. And the flag came way before Kelce’s pitch, which was amazing. pic.twitter.com/OhVcnwim6f
