Warriors’ Draymond Green, Kevon Looney out Tuesday against Nuggets

Draymond Green and Kevon Looney will miss the Golden State Warriors game against the Denver Nuggets due to injury.

Draymond Green and Kevon Looney were ruled out of the Golden State Warriors’ game against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday night, The Athletic’s Anthony Slater tweeted.

Green has left knee soreness. This will be the fifth of the last six games he will not dress for and the third in a row.

Looney will miss his second game in a row with a hip injury.

With those two and Ky Bowman injured, the Warriors will likely play a similar lineup to the one Sunday against the Washington Wizards.

Andrew Wiggins, Damion Lee, Marquese Chriss, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Dragan Bender, Eric Paschall, Mychal Mulder and Jordan Poole played that game.

The Warriors signed Chasson Randle to a 10-day contract, so he has a chance to make his Golden State debut.

The Warriors (13-48) and Nuggets (41-19) are scheduled to tip off at 7 p.m. at the Pepsi Center in Denver.

The Nuggets are tied for second place in the Western Conference while Golden State has the worst record in the league.
