Warriors at Lakers: Prediction, point spread, odds, over/under, betting picks

Our prediction and best bets for Wednesday’s Lakers-Warriors play-in game.

The Los Angeles Lakers play the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday, and if you’re looking to do some last-minute betting research, you’re in luck! We’ll give you the latest point spread, moneyline odds and over-under number, as well as the information you’ll need to make the smartest bet on BetMGM.

The game tips off at 10 p.m. ET and can be seen on ESPN.

The Lakers are getting back to full health at an auspicious time, as LeBron James, Anthony Davis and Dennis Schroder are joining the rest of their teammates together for the third straight game, which hasn’t occurred often since Davis went down with a calf strain in mid-February.

Los Angeles has played two consecutive games with a mostly healthy squad, winning both games against the Indiana Pacers and New Orleans Pelicans, respectively. The continuity could benefit them against a hungry Warriors squad.

Golden State has dealt with innumerable challenges this season, which started when Klay Thompson was ruled out for the season before it even commenced. However, Stephen Curry has displayed magnificent numbers throughout the season, and it’s precarious if the Warriors would be in this position if not for his production.

However, Golden State will also be without James Wiseman, who has been out for the season since mid-April, Kelly Oubre Jr. and Damion Lee. They’ll need Draymond Green and Andrew Wiggins to step up to give Curry some crucial helping hands.

Advice and prediction

The Lakers finished the regular season with the best defense in the NBA, and James is manifesting a positive attitude for Los Angeles that wasn’t prevalent for the last few months. Because health is benefiting L.A., they have a favorable advantage as they have more talent to contain Curry. Golden State could have a strenuous time defending James and Davis without vital members of the rotation.

In the two wins L.A. has over Golden State this season, they posted a point differential of +57. Davis did not play when the teams last met in mid-March, which the Lakers won, 128-97. Take the Lakers -5.5.

Prediction: Lakers 127, Warriors 111
