Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen on Stefon Diggs: ‘It’s a bummer that he’s not here’

Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen went on KFAN recently, where he talked about his former teammate Stefon Diggs.

Minnesota had one of the top wide receiver duos in the league heading into this offseason, but that all changed when Stefon Diggs was reportedly traded to the Bills.

Diggs is gone, and now Adam Thielen is by far the best wideout currently on the Vikings’ roster. Thielen went on KFAN recently to talk about Diggs’ departure.

Here’s what he said:

“Obviously, it’s a bummer that he’s not here because it was such a fun duo to be able to work off one another and things like that, whether it be practice or games,” Thielen said, according to the Pioneer Press. “So, I’m definitely going to miss that, but it will be fun to see him have success somewhere else.”

Diggs and a seventh-round pick were reportedly traded in exchange for the Bills’ first-round pick, fifth-round pick, sixth-round pick and a 2021 fourth-round pick, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.

Diggs is a big loss, but the haul Minnesota received for him was pretty good, and now the Vikings can go about replacing him in the NFL Draft.
