Vikings’ defensive milestones to watch in 2020

Danielle Hunter could continue to climb the charts in 2020.

We took a look at the Vikings’ offensive milestones to watch on Monday.

Today, we look at some defensive milestones to watch.

Danielle Hunter

Last season, Hunter became the youngest player in league history to hit the 50-sack mark.

Hunter enters the season with 54.5 sacks. If he has another 14.5 sacks (something he’s done the last two seasons), he’d move from eighth to fifth on the team’s all-time sack list, leapfrogging Henry Thomas, Kevin Williams and Brian Robison.

He would also move from 154th to 99th on the NFL’s all-time sack list.

Harrison Smith

The All-Pro safety enters the season with 23 career interceptions. If he has seven in 2020, he’d move past Carl Lee and up to sixth on the team’s all-time interception list.

Smith also needs 57 tackles to move from ninth to seventh on the all-time list.

Eric Kendricks

Kendricks has 342 solo tackles. He needs 13 to move from 14th to 12th on the team’s all-time list.
