Victor Wembanyama, Nikola Jokic come to TD Garden to face the Boston Celtics

On the Spurs side of things, it should be a night several Celtics can get some rest, but the contest vs. Jokic and the Nugs is about as far as one can get from such a scenario.

The Boston Celtics have themselves a two-game homestand coming up in which a pair of star big men will grace TD Garden for the first time this season — and in the case of one of them, the first time ever. The latter would be San Antonio Spurs star rookie Victor Wembanyama, and the other Denver Nuggets star center Nikola Jokic.

On the Spurs side of things, it should be a night several Celtics can get some rest given San Antonio is not exactly pushing hard to win games as a ball club. But the contest vs. Jokic and the Nugs is about as far as one can get from such a scenario, with Denver one of the few ball clubs with good odds to make it to the 2024 NBA Finals from the Western Conference.

The hosts of the CLNS Media “The Big 3 NBA” podcast took a close look at these two pending matchups as well as the recent news surrounding the Celtics.
