At USC, Jordan Addison worked different areas of the field. Caleb Williams hit him on downfield, over-the-top passes against Stanford in the second game of the season. Addison worked the deep-intermediate parts of the field against UCLA. He was also part of the Trojans’ short passing game at times.
The USC receiver was noticeably versatile. His body and playing style are very different from Drake London, USC’s 2022 first-round draft pick, but Addison is a playmaker in his own right. His versatility was central to his success with the Trojans. This enabled him to be a top-25 pick in the 2023 NFL draft.
With the Minnesota Vikings, Addison should be able to use his versatility to great effect.
