The Vikings beat the odds, and the Saints, in Sunday’s wild card game in New Orleans.
We’re now down to eight teams in the playoff hunt. The folks over at BetMGM have the Ravens as the heavy favorites at 1.85:1 to win the Super Bowl. The Vikings are third-to-last at 14:1. The two teams with worse odds are the Titans and Texans who are both at 28:1.
If the Vikings can beat the 49ers this week (they are seven-point underdogs), you could argue they played their two toughest opponents in the two opening rounds.
In case you haven’t heard, or been reminded recently, the Vikings have never won a Super Bowl. They are actually 0-4 in such games.
The first step will be to get through another 13-3 squad on the road.
