USC show explores Trojans’ 2023 offensive line situation

At the @VoiceOfCFB, our friends @TrojanConquests and @LBCTrojan discuss the #USC O-line. They have special guests and field calls.

The USC Trojans have a lot of problems to fix if they want to be great enough to win the Pac-12 Conference and make the College Football Playoff this season. The offensive line is not one of those problems.

This does not mean the Trojans have nothing to worry about at this position. USC ran into depth problems last season when Andrew Vorhees and Justin Dedich got hurt. They had to cycle through the depth chart and put less proven performers in difficult positions. This limitation was particularly exposed by Utah in the Pac-12 Championship Game when Mason Murphy got roasted. He just wasn’t ready for the physical challenge posed by the Utes.

The key for this offensive line — as was the case last year — is not connected to the starting five or who will be Day 1 starters. It is once again rooted in the depth of the position group and the need to have proven quality at all five spots, such that any injury to a Day 1 starter does not put this group behind the curve.

Our friends at The Voice of College Football have a USC channel. On that USC channel, you will now find a new show called Trojan Conquest, hosted by Tim Prangley and Rick Anaya.

Watch and listen to Tim and Rick discuss the 2023 USC offensive line. Tim and Rick also bring on guests and field viewer calls.

Trojan Conquest airs live on Sundays at 8 p.m. Eastern and 5 p.m. Pacific. Subscribe to, like, and share this program and the USC channel at The Voice of College Football.
