UNC to face Michigan in Jumpman Invitational

The UNC basketball program is set to face Michigan in December for the inaugural Jumpman Invitational in Charlotte.

In another notable non-conference matchup for the UNC basketball program, the Tar Heels will square off against Michigan in the inaugural Jumpman Invitational this year. The game is scheduled for Dec. 21 at 7 pm ET.

The event will take place in Charlotte, with the women’s teams facing each other as well, the night before.

Oklahoma will face Florida on Dec. 20 at 9:30 pm ET, as the other mens teams involved.

UNC will face Michigan for the fifth time in six seasons. Most recently, the Tar Heels defeated Michigan in Chapel Hill last year, 72-51, in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

Caleb Love led the Tar Heels with 22 points, while Armando Bacot had 11 points and 14 rebounds. North Carolina held Michigan big man Hunter Dickinson, who returns for the Wolverines, to just four points and five rebounds.

North Carolina has had a lot of success in Charlotte, where the ACC Tournament was held annually before the most recent change up in site locations.

UNC is 164-27 all-time in Charlotte and 14-2 in the Spectrum Center.
