UNC basketball 2023 commits arrive on campus

UNC basketball’s 2023 commits have officially arrived on campus in Chapel Hill for the Summer semester.

The 2023-24 college basketball season is still months away but players are starting to arrive on campus for summer camps and the excitement is still in the air.

For North Carolina, next season’s roster will look a lot different as there was a ton of turnover. Only Armando Bacot and R.J. Davis return as starters and they added four players from the transfer portal. But that’s not all.

UNC is welcoming in a two-man 2023 recruiting class that includes Elliot Cadeau, a five-star point guard that reclassified and should play a big role early on. As the summer sessions begin, both Cadeau and fellow 2023 commit Zayden High have officially arrived on campus:

The Tar Heels were supposed to have a three-man 2023 class but four-star guard and longtime commit Simeon Wilcher decided to change his mind and instead ask for his release.

However, with these two on campus now they are getting some extra work in with the team.
