Mitchell (13-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) took down and controlled Rosa (12-4 MMA, 3-4 UFC) in every round of the fight and also threatened with close submission several times in each round.

Mitchell impressed by setting up and coming close to finishing Rosa with his signature submission, the Twister, on several occasions throughout the fight. Mitchell also attacked with several chokes, including multiple arm-triangle chokes.

Mitchell remains undefeated in his UFC run and in his career as a professional fighter. The 25-year-old fighter is quickly becoming one of the brightest prospects in the UFC’s 145-pound division.

Meanwhile, Rosa finds himself on a 2-3 run in his last five UFC performances.

Rosa, jiu-jitsu black belt, did well defensively as he fought back many times and got out of several deep submission attempts. Despite the good defense, Rosa wasn’t able to get much offense going, allowing Mitchell to dominate the action for basically all the 15 minutes of the fight.
