Two Aggies earn SEC Honors in Track & Field

Two notable Aggies including Conner Schulman and Camryn Dickson earn SEC Honors in Track & Field

The outdoor track season is starting to heat up and the Texas A&M Aggies have multiple athletes competing at a high level. One example is how Bryce Foster has bounced back after his major injury. Also, the SEC recognized two Aggies after their performances at the Victor Lopez Classic. Conner Schulman was named the SEC Men’s Runner of the Week and Camryn Dickson was named SEC Women’s Freshman of the Week.

The junior hurdler Schulman beat his best time by .08 seconds with a time of 13.64 in the 110 hurdles. It currently puts him ninth-best in Texas A&M history and the No. 3 time in the world.

Freshman Sprinter Dickson is on fire to start the season and is showing she is going to be a problem for not only the SEC but for anyone that lines up next to her.

Dickson matched her best in the 200m with a 23.20 and that’s good enough for the No. 1 freshman time in the SEC, No. 2 overall in the SEC, and No. 6 in the NCAA. She is also part of the No. 2 4x100m team in the nation clocking in at 44.10.  Camryn Dickson left the Victor Lopez Classic with two gold medals in the 200m and 4x100m. While this might be her first SEC honor it most definitely will not be her last.
