The Tennessee Titans took control of the AFC South on Sunday after notching a big divisional victory over the Indianapolis Colts, 25-16.
In what was a surprising turn of events for a Titans team that heavily relied on its offense last season, it was actually the defense that carried Tennessee to this victory, as the offense turned the ball over three times, allowing the Colts to hang around.
But the Titans’ offense made plays when it needed to and did just enough to outlast the Colts, who struggled to move the ball with quarterback Carson Wentz playing hurt, and without two starters on the offensive line.
With the victory, the Titans move to 2-1 and own the best record in the AFC South, which of course means they have sole possession of first place after three games.
Let’s take a look at what Twitter had to say about the Titans’ winning effort.
