Former Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence is one of the emerging stars in the NFL, breaking a team record Sunday in the Jacksonville Jaguars’ big divisional win over the Houston Texans.
Improving to 8-3 and furthering their stronghold on their division, Lawrence set a single-game franchise record against the divisional opponent of 364 passing yards. It was an excellent performance from the face of the Jaguars franchise and one that could have been even better if the Jaguars hadn’t dealt with frequent drops.
This strong performance comes off a week where Lawrence was named the AFC offensive player of the week, scoring four touchdowns, two of which came on the ground against the Tennessee Titans in a dominant win. Week after week, Lawrence improves and continues to develop into one of the league’s best.
