Tom Brady jokes about getting kicked out of a park in message to Tampa Bay fans

He’s a Florida Man.

Tom Brady is officially a Florida Man.

Last week, Brady was spotted working out in a Tampa-area park and asked to leave by a city employee due to the coronavirus lockdown. And if that wasn’t enough, Brady inadvertently walked into the wrong home while trying to meet with Buccaneers offensive coordinator Byron Leftwich.

Well, at least Brady is at the point where he can laugh at it all.

In a video posted to the Buccaneers’ Twitter account on Sunday, the former Patriots quarterback — sporting a noticeable tan/sunburn — had a message for Bucs fans. And yes, he did make sure to poke fun at getting booted from a Tampa park.

Brady said:

“I’m so happy to be in Tampa Bay. And I wanted to say thank you guys for welcoming me and my family into your community with open arms — outside of getting kicked out of a park the other day. I’m so excited to be a Buc!”

On Saturday, Tampa mayor Jane Castor actually issued an apology for the park incident (if you can call it that) and welcomed Brady to the city.

But at the very least, it looks like Brady has managed to get some sun without going to city parks. Just look at him.
