Tom Brady didn’t hesitate to get the trash talk started ahead of “The Match,” a celebrity golf matchup.
This year, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback will play with Phil Mickelson against Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and PGA pro Bryson DeChaumbeau. Last year, Brady and Mickelson lost to Payton Manning and Tiger Woods. But it doesn’t seem like Brady is ever short on confidence. He took a jab at Rodgers. Mickelson, perhaps less skilled in the art of trash talk, also chimed in on Twitter.
Brady seemed to be jabbing at Rodgers, who was likely to put together a conservative approach for “The Match.”
Two old guys against the young bucks @PhilMickelson. @b_dechambeau better get used to laying up because we know @AaronRodgers12 isn’t going for it 🤣 https://t.co/f1DQsFn41U

Tom and I have some unfinished business. Unfortunately it will be at Bryson and Aaron’s expense 😂😂

It honestly doesn’t really matter who wins or losses. It’s just pure entertainment. Last year, Brady played some terrific (and awful) golf while splitting his pants. There’s always hi-jinx involved.
