Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady immediately started talking trash with Aaron Rodgers after TNT announced they’d square off in
“The Match,” a celebrity golf event.
Brady will pair up with Phil Mickelson for the second straight year while Rodgers will get teammate PGA pro Bryson DeChambeau. Brady and Mickelson lost to Tiger Woods and Peyton Manning last year, but it was hardly about who won or lost. It was all about the entertainment value, with plenty of trash talk, good (and terrible) golf and sheer randomness (including Brady splitting his pants).
But even after a largely embarrassing outing for Brady, the quarterback seems mighty confident. He took jabs at Rodgers on Wednesday.
Two old guys against the young bucks @PhilMickelson. @b_dechambeau better get used to laying up because we know @AaronRodgers12 isn’t going for it 🤣 https://t.co/f1DQsFn41U

This should be fun.
