ORLANDO — Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris continued to be a steady contributor Wednesday night as his team remains in a fight for postseason seeding position in the upcoming NBA playoffs.
Harris, a former University of Tennessee basketball player, scored 17 points in Philadelphia’s 107-98 victory over the Washington Wizards at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Arena.
He also pulled down six rebounds and dished out two assists for the 76ers, who have now won two consecutive games after dropping their first contest of the NBA restart in the Central Florida bubble.
The 2019-20 season, which was suspended in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, restarted in late-July. The Sixers lost their first game to the Indiana Pacers this summer, but they bounced back to edge San Antonio before beating the Wizards on Wednesday.
