Titans ‘open for business’ with No. 11 overall pick

Titans GM Ran Carthon is keeping his options open with the No. 11 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft.

The Tennessee Titans hold the No. 11 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft, and while most expect them to take an offensive tackle in that spot, general manager Ran Carthon is keeping his options open.

During his NFL Combine presser on Tuesday, Carthon announced that the Titans are “always open for business” in terms of possibly trading a draft pick.

“We are always open for business,” Carthon said, per Jim Wyatt of Titans Online. “All the guys, you’ve got my number, call me.

“But no, it’s always about just being open, to try and continue to add value. We’ll listen and field every call, and see what comes from it.”

With the Titans possibly in the market for a quarterback this offseason, the team could move up from No. 11 overall if one of the signal-callers they covet falls near their spot, but chances are the No. 1 pick is out of reach.

Tennessee could also opt to move back in order to acquire more picks, which might be especially enticing to a new general manager like Carthon.

I still think the Titans ultimately land their left tackle of the future with the No. 11 overall pick, but just like everything else this offseason, there’s no telling what direction this team will go in when the draft rolls around.
