Titans add RB Jordan Wilkins to practice squad among 4 moves

The Titans made a total of four moves on their practice squad on Wednesday.

The Tennessee Titans made a grand total of four moves on their practice squad on Wednesday, including adding former Indianapolis Colts running back, Jordan Wilkins.

A fifth-round pick of the Colts in 2018, Wilkins spent the first three-plus years of his career in Indy before being waived in late October. He saw just one offensive snap in 2021 and played almost exclusively on special teams.

In the three seasons prior, the Memphis, Tennessee native carried the ball 195 times for 951 yards (4.9 yards per carry) and four scores, while also adding 35 receptions for 233 yards.

With Derrick Henry on the shelf, the Titans could use all the help they can get at the position. D’Onta Foreman and Dontrell Hilliard have performed well, but it certainly doesn’t hurt to add a tough runner like Wilkins as an insurance policy.

In addition to that move, the Titans added defensive back Rodney Clemons to the practice squad, while also waiving running back Rodney Smith and placing safety Jamal Carter on practice squad IR.
