Sometimes it’s nice, on a Sunday in spring, to simply appreciate when somebody has developed a particular athletic skill that we don’t often observe but is nonetheless inspiring to watch.
In this particular case, what we have here is a young man by the name of Jonathan David Griffith, who appears to have played some high school football in South Carolina.
What we want to draw your attention to, though, is his roller skating videos. Yes, roller skating videos. His latest one on TikTok has 5 million views and counting. He’s also got a YouTube. There’s so much insane skating, friends.
(Warning: Music has profanities.)

Not being deeply embedded in the roller skating community, I have quite a few questions here. Mainly: Are those pool noodles? Is this a game where people skate around trying to beat each other with pool noodles? Next question: Where is the closest roller skating rink to me where this game is played?
If you’re a purist, and you want to see an entire, uhh, match (let’s go with match) of this to understand the flow, here you go:

It seems like watching Jonathan dodge people is appointment viewing at the Skate Station of Sumter. As it should be.
