The NFL’s 2022 free agency period doesn’t officially start until March 16. That doesn’t mean deals are going to wait until the league mandated kickoff.
Reported deals began flying onto Twitter feeds across the league as this year’s group of veteran playmakers began fielding calls and coming to unofficial terms on contracts that will either keep them with the franchises they call home or move them to a new team looking to make a splash. The NFL’s Florida franchises, the Miami Dolphins and Jacksonville Jaguars, have each put their bundles of salary cap space to good use, lighting up ESPN’s ticker like a Christmas tree with reports of big money deals aimed at rebuilding downtrodden franchises.
Of course, they aren’t the only teams making moves this spring. Here’s where all 101 of my top free agents are headed in 2022.
