The Houston Texans have released tight end Pharaoh Brown from the active roster and receiver Chris Conley from the practice squad.

The Houston Texans are retooling their roster at 0-3-1.

The club announced Tuesday they have released tight end Pharaoh Brown and receiver Chris Conley.

Brown, who missed Week 4 with a shoulder and hip injury, caught seven passes for 72 yards through the first three games of the season. Brown started in all three games for the Texans.
