The Vols join Michigan, LSU, Florida, Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Arizona State, Penn State and Oklahoma in the 4-star’s top ten.
Spindler is the No. 2 guard in his class per the 247Sports Composite, and the No. 3 overall player in Michigan. At 6-foot-4.5 and 295-pounds, Spindler is lean but powerful at this stage in his high school career, and would bring an offensive lineman with an extraordinarily high upside and room to add weight.
Tennessee has assigned quarterbacks coach Chris Weinke as Spindler’s primary recruiter, with help from offensive line coach Will Friend. The Vols currently do not have an offensive lineman committed to the 2021 class.
