Here’s how dialed in he was in a pressure-filled moment: cameras appeared to capture him trying to complete the bottle-flip challenge on the bench before overtime.
Doncic was getting ready for the extra period, taking sips from a water bottle, when he decided to see if he could get it to flip and land on its bottom successfully. He failed, but that really doesn’t matter.
What does is that its proof he wasn’t nervous at all about carrying the Mavs to a victory:
This brings us back to a more innocent time, when a high school student inspired a nation to flip bottles and go viral for it.
