One year ago today, at the 2019 Sugar Bowl, Texas’ mascot, Bevo, took a run at Georgia’s Uga. The longhorn steer plowed through barriers to try to crush Uga.
Was it a case of mascot jealousy that provoked Bevo? We’ll never know, but this was arguably the most memorial moment of the year for UGA football:

This moment will be forever remembered. Both Georgia fans and Texas fans have seen some interesting mascot moments over the years, but this may be the worst mascot on mascot crime in Bevo’s history.
Uga’s most famous moment occurred when he nearly bit Auburn’s Robert Baker in 1996. In this year’s match-up versus Baylor, Uga won’t have to worry about Baylor’s Bear mascots as they’ll stay on campus.
