It wasn’t until the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft that former Badger center Tyler Biadasz heard his name called by the Dallas Cowboys.

Cowboy and Badger fans alike know too well who the center was drafted to try to replace: five-time Pro-Bowler and one-time first-team All-Pro Travis Frederick, one of the greats to play the position for both programs.

Well, the starting role wasn’t Biadasz’s to start the season but after an injury to the starter on the first snap two weeks ago, the former Badger center stepped into the role and has performed admirably.

ProFootballFocus has been all over the impressive start to his career and named him as the center on their “All-Rookie Offensive Line” through four weeks.

In 135 snaps thus far for America’s team, the former Badger has committed only two penalties, allowed zero sacks and has recorded an overall grade of 56.8.

Though the Cowboys have had a rough start to the season with a 1-3 record, the offense has not been the problem. It is unknown at this point how much time starter Joe Looney will miss, though if Biadasz was to continue his current level of play it may be a job that he never gives back.

The former Badger and his team are back in action tomorrow when they host the 0-4 New York Giants.
