Shocking news out of the state of Florida.

Former Florida State star wide receiver Travis Rudolph has been arrested for first-degree murder and first-degree attempted murder after a shooting that left one person dead and one injured. Rudolph, who played for the Seminoles from 2014-16, is being held without bail.

Rudolph led the Seminoles with 59 receptions, 916 receiving yards and seven touchdown catches in his sophomore season in 2015. During that same year, he broke the Florida State record for most receiving yards in a bowl game with 201 against Houston in the 2015 Peach Bowl.

Foregoing his senior season, the West Palm Beach native went undrafted in the 2017 draft, eventually signing with the New York Giants as a free agent. Rudolph spent the last two years with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the Canadian Football League.
