Football’s almost back! Here are training camp reporting dates for all 32 NFL teams — rookies and veterans.

Our long national nightmare — life without football — is nearly over. As the summer starts to turn, and the days get just a bit shorter, it’s time to start thinking about your favorite team’s new coaches, acquired free agents, and draft picks. Maybe this is the season for your team to hoist the Lombardi Trophy?

We all live in hope, which is what the season is about.

In just a few weeks, rookies will report to their new NFL facilities for their first training camps, with the veterans soon to follow. Here are the starting dates for all 32 teams — rookies and veterans.

Chargers announce start date for 2022 training camp

The NFL announced the report dates for every team.

The Chargers are less than three months from opening up regular season play against the Raiders. Before that, the team will spend a good chunk of time on their practice field, where players will fight for starting spots and a shot at the 53-man roster.

The NFL announced that the team’s rookies will return to Jack Hammett Sports Complex in Costa Mesa, CA on July 19, with the veterans set to arrive a week later on July 26.

Chargers announce dates for training camp, how fans can come to watch

The Los Angeles Chargers will begin training camp on July 28.

The Chargers officially announced that the team will return to Jack Hammett Sports Complex in Costa Mesa, CA on July 28, and fans will be able to attend.

Fans will need to pre-register for their free tickets. More information on availability and access can be found at chargers.com/camp. All covered seating and observation space will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the team’s official website.

This year, space will be more limited than in previous years and interactive fan zones from past camps will be replaced by no-contact, Charger-themed photo opportunities as we continue to safely transition back into in-person events.

In addition, Los Angeles will host a Season Ticket Member FanFest and open practice at SoFi Stadium on Sunday, Aug. 8 at 3:30 pm PT.

Prior to their Week 2 preseason matchup on Aug. 22 at SoFi Stadium, the Chargers and 49ers will practice Thursday, Aug. 19 and Friday, Aug. 20 at Jack Hammett Sports Complex.
