Watch what Indiana head coach Tom Allen had to say about Ohio State after the game

Ohio State escaped with a win against Indiana Saturday. Watch and listen to what Hoosier coach Tom Allen had to say about the Buckeyes.

True to form, Ohio State jumped out on No. 10 Indiana straight out of the gate on a two-play touchdown drive that ended with a Justin Fields pass to Garret Wilson for a 7-0 lead. It looked like the route was on.

From there though, Indiana settled down a bit, even while absorbing a quick scoring burst to end the first half. The Hoosiers began to fight back in the third quarter and almost came all the way back, losing narrowly 42-35 to a No. 3 ranked Buckeye squad.

Hoosier head coach Tom Allen told the FOX broadcast team that his team would show character in the second half, and it sure did. He met with the media after the game to discuss what he saw and had some really high praise for this Ohio State team.

Fans and media members might be looking to point out the warts OSU showed, but Allen was quick to point out what makes Ohio State so tough when he appeared on the Zoom call right after the game.

In case you missed any of his comments, we’ve got them for you thanks to the Indiana Hoosiers YouTube account. Click on the below and listen to Allen discuss how much heart his team showed, the unbelievable play of quarterback Michael Penix Jr., and — and most notably — some glowing remarks about the talent and skill on the Ohio State sideline.
