John Krasinski brought back a classic The Office Dwight prank to promote IF with Ryan Reynolds

This was too perfect.

Hey, remember that time Jim Halpert played an all-time great prank on Dwight Schrute on The Office in Season 9, in which he got his buddy Steve (played by the fantastic Randall Park) to play himself? And Dwight was so confused at the time, thinking he was going batty?

Well, John Krasinski — who played Jim, of course — brought the prank back to promote his upcoming movie IF, which he wrote, directed, starred in and produced. He got Park to come in and sit with Ryan Reynolds, pretending to be … John Krasinski! It’s all very funny.

All 32 NFL teams entering 2023, as explained by The Office

Here are all 32 NFL teams as they enter 2023, as explained by clips from The Office.

The 2023 NFL season is just around the corner, and we’ll soon be able to root for our favorite teams and see if they can be the ones to break through the noise and hoist the Lombardi next February.

However, the NFL is just too incredibly silly at times not to have a little fun with.

Like we did with the top 25 college football teams and jokes from Tim Robinson’s I Think You Should Leave, here are all 32 NFL teams entering the 2023 season being explained by clips from The Office.

Sit right on down in this Michael Scott-led Dunder Mifflin Scranton branch staff meeting and see how all of the NFL’s teams project this season.

Golf fans are perfectly comparing the LIV Golf – PGA Tour merger to the Michael Scott Paper Company on The Office

This is a perfect comparison.

Wondering why you saw the Michael Scott Paper Company trending on Twitter Tuesday morning?

The short answer is: It’s thanks to the PGA Tour and LIV Golf merging, news that shocked the golf world and its pros.

The long answer? Back in the fifth season of The Office, Michael Scott leaves Dunder Mifflin and starts his own paper company with Pam and Ryan. Despite the fact that it doesn’t go so well, it’s enough of a problem that, eventually, Dunder Mifflin merges with the Michael Scott Paper Company.

Does that mirror how LIV Golf broke away and will now get to merge with the PGA Tour? Fans think so:

Watch all 3 of Peyton Manning’s schedule release videos for the Broncos

Here’s a look back at Peyton Manning’s last three schedule release videos with the Broncos. Which one was your favorite?

The Denver Broncos wrapped up a trilogy of sorts when Peyton Manning returned to announce the team’s 2023 schedule on Thursday, marking the third time he’s done so in the last three offseasons.

Manning kicked things off in 2021 when he spoofed being an “intern” at the team’s facility in a funny schedule release video. The original skit was a big hit so the Broncos did it again in 2022 and added new quarterback Russell Wilson as a second “intern” for the video.

Denver brought Manning back again in 2023 to announce their schedule with Angela Kinsey in a video format once again inspired by The Office.

Following the Broncos’ schedule announcement on Thursday evening, here’s a quick look back at all three of Manning’s videos in the series.

Peyton Manning, Angela Kinsey announce Broncos’ schedule in funny video

Peyton Manning recruited Angela Kinsey to help announce the Denver Broncos’ schedule, ‘The Office’ style.

For the third year in a row, the Denver Broncos have relied on Peyton Manning to play a starring role in their schedule release video.

For the 2023 schedule release, the Broncos decided to invite some additional star power alongside the Hall of Fame quarterback: The Office‘s Angela Kinsey.

Denver mascot Miles and Kinsey, a noted Broncos fan, were tasked with throwing a schedule release party. Kinsey tries to figure out different dishes to do for the different teams on the schedule.

For Washington: “I know a senator,” (referring to Office co-star Jack Coleman, who played Angela’s on-screen husband).

For the Los Angeles Chargers, Kinsey suggests, “nothing they can choke on.”

Miles had the idea of clam chowder for the New England Patriots, which he then spilled all over the carpet.

Throughout the video, there were several other humorous Office references.

Also in the clip, other Office co-stars Kate Flannery (Meredith) and William Charles Schneider (Creed) also made cameos during the spot.

At the end of the video, several staffers and Miles recreated the famous fire drill scene from the show before the schedule appeared on screen. View the team’s full schedule here.

Michael Scott meets Mass Effect in hilarious video

The Office’s boss takes on some reapers in a ridiculous parody.

The Mass Effect universe is overflowing with intergalactic danger, and no leader has the skills to take on spacefaring threats quite like The Office‘s Michael Scott. That latter sentiment is entirely incorrect, of course – but someone proved he’s up to the job in a wild crossover.

On Monday, YouTuber eli_handle_b․wav shared a new video where Michael Scott takes command of the SSV Normandy from the original Mass Effect trilogy. Have you ever wondered how the self-proclaimed “world’s best boss” would handle Mass Effect 2‘s explosive opening? Or how about that part in Mass Effect 3‘s Citadel DLC when the crew parties the night away? Scott’s got moves.

Check out the video for yourself below. Make sure you’re not drinking anything unless you want to spit it out via guttural belly laugh.

In fairness to Michael, I think the overwhelming majority of us would have that reaction to Miranda Lawson giving us a shoulder tap.

By now, eli_handle_b․wav has done a few of these hilarious crossover edits. Specifically with Home Alone x Resident Evil Village, Leslie Nielsen x Detroit: Become Human, and Indiana Jones in Elden Ring. The end result is always something that’s as knee-slap worthy as it is beautiful.

Rainn Wilson to raise the 12th Man Flag

Rainn Wilson is a born and raised Seattle local, and a known Seattle sports super fan.

One of the most time honored traditions for the Seattle Seahawks has been the ceremonial raising of the 12th Man Flag in the south endzone. An honor usually given to former players, veterans, prominent Seattle athletes or pop culture figures.

On Sunday afternoon against the Jets, the latter will be doing so when Seattle’s own Rainn Wilson will be doing the honors. An actor, producer, writer and comedian, Rainn Wilson is a born and raised Seattle local, and a known Seattle sports super fan.

Wilson is easily best known for his role as Dwight K. Schrute in the popular comedy series “The Office” but has been active in a number of projects in both film, television, and his own media company.

Rainn Wilson is a beloved figure in the Seattle community, and will surely receive a warm response from the 12th Man as he is truly one of their own.

Angela Kinsey from ‘The Office’ attended the Broncos game Sunday

Angela Kinsey is a Broncos fan!

The Office, a show from 2005-2013 on NBC then and now, has become a cultural phenomenon. So when Angela Kinsey, who played Angela Martin on the show, made an appearance during the Broncos/Chiefs matchup Sunday, it’s a strong chance it will be news.

“Yesterday was an absolute blast!” Kinsey wrote on Instagram. “Thank you @broncos for a day that my family will always cherish!”

The Broncos would lose the matchup against the Chiefs, 34-28, despite Kinsey’s cameo appearance. But in all seriousness, it’s a great thing that the Broncos still have strong support. The season hasn’t gone as planned, and it wouldn’t be ideal for fans to have written the team off. A 3-10 record isn’t anything to write home about.

So whether it’s a celebrity or everyday fan, support for the Broncos moving forward will help the team’s morale for the rest of the season and beyond. The Broncos will face off against the Arizona Cardinals this Sunday at home. If Kinsey doesn’t show up, perhaps another celebrity may bring luck to the Broncos down the home stretch.

The Office has its own LEGO set now, including Dunder Mifflin and Kevin’s tragic chili pot

Teach your children about the exciting world of mid-size regional paper suppliers with the universe’s favorite building blocks!

The Office aired its last new episode more than nine years ago. Despite this, its contributions to pop culture continue unabated.

Peacock recently released a re-cut fifth season of the show to go with its cache of extended episodes, restoring deleted scenes cut mostly for time. Last fall, Funko developed an entire 24-piece Advent calendar loaded with special Office character minifigures. The Office Ladies podcast, hosted by cast members Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey, is now 101 episodes deep.

Soon, LEGO will add the next chapter to the show’s unkillable legacy: a 1,164-piece building kit that will allow superfans to build their own slice of Scranton, PA mundanity at their dining room table. Behold, LEGO’s The Office Set:

The kit, which retails for $119.99, isn’t solely limited to the fluorescent confines of Dunder Mifflin (annex not included). 15 of the show’s main cast members are included as figures. Some even have their own pitch perfect accessories, including but not limited to:

  • Pam and the teapot and letter Jim gave to her in Season 2’s Christmas episode.
  • Meredith and her 52-ounce gas station cup, presumably topped off with Lego vodka tonic.
  • Kevin and his chili pot.
  • Creed, who is holding something, possibly an apple or a potato, not that he’d realize the difference.

Notably missing is Andy Bernard, possibly because creators also got sick of how wildly inconsistent he became toward the end of the show.

The extension is part of the LEGO Ideas line, which accepts fan submissions as potential kits. The company then shares some of the profits from their set with whomever submitted it. Given the eternal popularity of the former primetime staple, it’ll probably be a lucrative partnership for whomever put together this mini Dunder Mifflin.

Q&A with Brian Baumgartner about playing golf with Michael Jordan, The Office, and the perfect golf cocktail

Brian Bumgarner, who played Kevin on The Office, has a really good Michael Jordan story.

Chances are you know Brian Baumgartner from his legendary character in The Office – the hilarious, chili-dropping Kevin.

But did you also know that Baumgartner is a diehard golfer? Just last week he played in the American Century Classic in Tahoe for yet another time and, with a couple rounds in the 80s, he was able to beat Travis Kelce, Seth Curry, and a bunch of other well-known athletes.

This week I was able to chat with Baumgartner about his love for golf, playing a round with Michael Jordan, and what’s his go-to drink on the course.

Let’s get into this fun chat about the great, and infuriating, game of golf.
