Will Taylor Swift be at Travis Kelce’s game for Chiefs-Bills?

Will Taylor Swift be there for the Week 11 game?

It’s that time again.

Travis Kelce is back to playing NFL games in 2024, and Taylor Swift has had some time when she could once again come to cheer him on at Kansas City Chiefs games. She was there for the Week 1 win and attended the Week 2 victory. She wasn’t there for the Week 3 game in Atlanta or Week 4 in L.A., but she showed up to Week 5 against the Saints and was there for the Week 9 game against the Buccaneers and Week 10 for the Broncos game.

So the question is: will she be there for the Week 11 matchup on Sunday afternoon between the Chiefs and the Bills? According to our handy Taylor Swift calendar, and, well, what we know, the answer is: maybe?

Swift has a break from her Toronto shows until Thursday, and the Canadian city just so happens to be near Buffalo, where the Chiefs play. But there’s been a lot of talk about how awful Swift’s experience was when she was there for a playoff game earlier this year.

Plus, she hasn’t been to a Chiefs road game yet this season.

So … we’ll see!

On guitar, Swift brought out opening act Gracie Abrams and the duo sang their Grammy-nominated song “Us” combined with “Out Of The Woods” from 1989. On piano, Swift went with a mashup of “You’re On Your Own Kid” from Midnights and “long story short” from Evermore.

Next up, Swift takes a short break and then plays three more shows in Toronto before closing out the Eras Tour in Vancouver.

Who is Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour opening act for Toronto? Here’s the answer.

Here’s the answer for Toronto.

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is back once again, this time in Toronto for six dates, and if you’re attending, you might be wondering: who are you going to see on stage before the headliner?

We’ve seen names like Suki Waterhouse open for Swift, or Sabrina Carpenter and even the band Paramore.

This time? It’s a familiar face who opened for her Indianapolis and New Orleans shows as well. It’s Gracie Abrams, who opened for the Eras Tour in 2023. She’s the singer of songs like I miss you, I’m sorry and, fun fact, she’s the daughter of the great director and producer J.J. Abrams.

There’s your answer! Enjoy the shows!

Will Travis Kelce attend Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour dates in Toronto?

Will we get to see Travis Kelce in Indianapolis for the latest Eras Tour stop in Toronto?

We’ve seen Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift spend a bunch of time together over the fall as she’s had a break from the Eras Tour.

She’s been to a few games played by the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and the pair spent time together including at a New York Yankees playoff game.

Now, Swift is about to finish the Eras Tour, so you might wonder: given that the NFL season is in full swing, will Kelce somehow be able to sneak away to see her perform again in Toronto?

The answer is: … maybe? Kelce and the Chiefs are playing on the road on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, so it’s theoretically possible for him to dash over to Toronto in a couple of hours when the Chiefs travel to Western New York.

But … we’ll see!

What we know about NFL ref meeting with Taylor Swift before Broncos-Chiefs game

A referee “briefly met with Taylor Swift” before the Broncos-Chiefs game on Sunday, according to KSNT 27 Sports.

During the Kansas City Chiefs’ game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, NFL aggregation accounts on Twitter/X started sharing a story that essentially said, “NFL referee Sarah Thomas met with Taylor Swift before the game and FaceTimed her family during the meeting.”

If true, that’s not a good look because Swift, of course, is dating Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce, and Thomas was working the Broncos-Chiefs game on Sunday. The story might have been a bit exaggerated, though.

First, note that NFL officials are commonly all lumped into the “referee” category even though there’s technically only one “referee” on the crew, the lead official. Technically, Thomas is a “down judge,” but colloquially, fans dub them all referees.

Second, the accounts all linked back to KSNT 27 News. That’s a legitimate news station in Northeast Kansas, but they did not write a story on Swift’s exchange with Thomas. All the hoopla linked back to one tweet from Landon Reinhardt, who works for the station.

“Sarah Thomas, the down judge (ref) for today’s Chiefs/Broncos game, briefly met with Taylor Swift before the game,” Reinhardt tweeted on Sunday. “She was on FaceTime with family and I heard her say, ‘Did you get that screenshot?'”

While perhaps not the best look (especially when the Chiefs continue to get questionable calls), that exchange seems pretty innocent. It could have been as simple as Thomas being on the phone with her family in the stadium before the game and Swift happening to walk by. It’s not unusual to say hello to a celebrity, even when you’re an NFL official.

The ordeal seems to be overblown, but Broncos Wire has asked the NFL if they have a comment on the meeting. We are waiting for a response.
