T-Pain will perform at halftime of Vikings’ season opener vs. Packers

T-Pain is prepared to rock U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday

Every so often, you get a performance from a superstar singer during or before a game, and the Minnesota Vikings will have that during Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers.

Most of the time, these performances are either during a prime-time opener or a Thanksgiving Day game. Both the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys have performances at halftime during their games on Thanksgiving.

For Week 1 this season, the Vikings got out their checkbook and brought in a superstar: multi-platinum recording artist T-Pain, who will perform at halftime.

Known mostly for his Auto-Tune style and for performing with other artists, T-Pain has a long list of hits that include “Bartender,” “Buy U a Drank” and “I’m in Luv.”

Needless to say, there will be a great vibe at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday.

The experience led me to an idea: I figured it would be cool to piece together a quick little ranking of my top 10 Tiny Desk concerts that you need to listen or re-listen to (Usher is in there!).

So, here we go:
