Usually we like to focus on the positive here at Seahawks Wire – even after a bad loss we make at least one list of the best performers. However, after yesterday’s brutal 37-3 humiliation at the hands of the Ravens, nobody really deserves a star on their report card.

With rare exceptions like Boye Mafe, the Seahawks played poorly in all three phases and got particularly embarrassed by Baltimore’s pass rush and run game. Seahawks rookie running back Ken Walker had the team’s highest Pro Football Focus grade this week against the Chiefs.

The Seahawks lost to the Chiefs on Saturday, 24-10. The Seahawks couldn’t have needed Sunday’s win over Jacksonville any worse than they did. After suffering three straight frustrating losses, this team shook out of the funk and delivered its best and most complete effort of the season. From a sensational passing performance by Geno Smith, to a suffocating defensive display and a bonus special teams score, Seattle out-performed the Jaguars in every part of the game.
