Asked if he can envision Jackson coming …

Asked if he can envision Jackson coming back home to coach the Knicks, Kleiman said: “There’a few things in life that like would check certain boxes for me. If he ever had a chance to coach the Knicks, obviously I’d be over the moon. But more importantly he’d be a tremendous coach. Somebody who brings a certain amount of credibility to any room he walks into. He can’t help but infuse positivity into a culture. I’ve seen it.’’

Even so, Kleiman said he expects …

Even so, Kleiman said he expects Durant, who has done only a handful of media interviews this season, to reclaim his spot among the NBA’s top talents. “I have no question he’ll be back better than ever,” Kleiman said. “By next season, I expect nothing but KD. Great things will happen. Injuries are a part of the game, and it’s obviously been a bit frustrating. The Nets are still in playoff position. The players are developing and getting better. I expect things to pick up. Everyone knows what [Durant and Irving] can do when they’re playing and healthy.”

KLEIMAN: “That being said, whether it’s …

KLEIMAN: “That being said, whether it’s the Knicks, Timberwolves, Pacers, Clippers, any team, Mark Jackson is, to me, just one of those unique individuals that knows how to lead people, that knows how to inspire people. He’s got a personality that demands a certain level of attention. And I think it’s unfair that he hasn’t gotten a shot in the league, but I’m confident that he will. And I try not to get caught up in the six years that he hasn’t gotten a job and understand that for me, as his friend, he’s still the lead national analyst for the NBA (on ESPN) and the right job will come for him. And if it doesn’t, it doesn’t. Mark is winning in life. He’s got a great family, he’s got a great job and he’s a great person…. I’m rooting for him as a friend but again, I think Mike Miller deserves a shot to see this through. He’s doing well.”

With owner James Dolan looking at …

With owner James Dolan looking at making various agents as potential presidential candidates, don’t sleep on Kevin Durant’s man, Rich Kleiman, according to NBA sources. Kleiman, a native New Yorker, has always desired to run the Knicks. Kleiman was a force in having Durant at least consider the Knicks last year. The scuttlebutt was Durant would join the Knicks and Kleiman would take on a prominent front-office role. That possibility slammed shut when Durant chose the Nets, along with Kyrie Irving.

Report: Kevin Durant’s manager could be in running for Knicks president position

The New York Knicks are in search of a new president. Rich Kleiman could become a candidate to fill the position.

On Tuesday, Steve Mills’ time as President of the New York Knicks came to an end. Initially, reports indicated the Knicks decided to part ways with Mills. However, when the Knicks announced the move, the organization expressed Mills was leaving — making it sound like it was his decision.

Either way, Knicks owner James Dolan has to find a new president for the organization.

Initially, ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski was reporting Dolan would try to pursue Toronto Raptors president Masai Ujiri, but there was a quick shift as a possible candidate came up. Woj then reported, “The process for a successor is likely moving faster than the time needed to wait on an Ujiri courtship.”

Then there was another change in New York’s line of thinking:

This shift brings things to Kevin Durant’s manager, Rich Kleiman. According to Marc Berman of the New York Post, Kleiman is a candidate that should not be slept on.

Also, Berman added Kleiman “has always desired to run the Knicks.”

“Stephon’s journey is not without its …

“Stephon’s journey is not without its turbulences, but that’s real life,” producers Forest Whitaker and Nina Yang Bongiovi tell PEOPLE in a statement of the doc. “He’s a cultural ambassador between Asia and America today — and we love seeing him rise and inspire millions of youths around the world.” The film is directed by Coodie Simmons and Chike Ozah, and executive produced by Kevin Durant and Rich Kleiman.

In a recent interview on The Michael …

In a recent interview on The Michael Ray Show, Kleiman expressed that it was completely pointless to even mention the Nets forward’s name in Russel Westbrook’s homecoming game. “It was inherently just pointless. Because it was Russell’s night. He deserved all the attention last night. And that statement was probably said for what ensued — for more people to watch Perk on TV. For more people to click on his Instagram or his Twitter page. And there are some people who should be off limits from that. And Perk knows that. And Perk knows that KD is a made man now. “I just think Perk shouldn’t be speaking on him,” Kleiman also said. “Perk knows what kind of person KD is. Perk was there for it. And he also knows what kind of friend KD has been to him. So I think it was ridiculous that he would speak on it, to be honest.”

Rich Kleiman addresses idea of Kevin Durant returning this year

Kevin Durant’s business manager and partner, Rich Kleiman, spoke in-depth about the Brooklyn Nets superstar on The Michael Kay Show.

He hasn’t played in a single 2019-20 game, but it still doesn’t take much for Kevin Durant to be one of the most talked-about individuals in the world of basketball on any given day.

Recently, he drew everyone’s attention when he got into a Twitter fight with New York Knicks fans, then followed that up with a back-and-forth with his old Oklahoma City Thunder teammate turned NBA analyst Kendrick Perkins.

While Perkins discussed the Twitter matter on ESPN’s “The Jump” on Friday, Durant’s business manager and partner, Rich Kleiman, went on “The Michael Kay Show” on 98.7 ESPN New York.

Kleiman addressed a variety of topics, one being the possibility of Durant returning this year.

When asked if there was a chance Durant would be back this year, Kleiman’s initial response was simple:

I don’t know.

He then expanded:

I’m not planning on it. Honestly, again, this is one of those things where, like, as a fan, I would have thought the same thing. Like there was this calendar in front of us and we were all having these pow-wows. But he’s just attacking his rehab like he attacks everything else. I can see how intense he is about his recovery and his rehab, and I don’t wanna disturb that. And it’s truly been day-to-day because, ya know, there’s no expectation on him from anybody. There’s been no pressure from anybody, there’s been no expectation on himself. He’s just truly taken it day-to-day. And I think after what happened and all the pressure around the summer and the situation, he should take it day-to-day and he should just work.
